Lapua’s 6.5×55 SE cartridge is especially popular in the Scandinavian countries, including long-range field shooting disciplines. This round delivers a flatter trajectory and excellent ballistics. Though traditionally most used at longer ranges, the 6.5×55 SE cartridge is today extremely popular in competitions from 100 to 800 meters.
There have two versions of this 6.5×55 SE cartridge with the 7.8 g (120 gr) Scenar-L bullet, this one has a slightly higher muzzle velocity of 920 m/s (3018 fps)
